Career Vision Recruiters are currently seeking an Junior Operations Manager to join an exceptional hospitality team in Tullamore. This role involves overseeing various departments, including Food & Beverage, Rooms, and Front of House, with a strong focus on operational excellence, team leadership, and guest satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in an operational leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a duty manager
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple departments effectively and work under pressure.
  • Experience with budgeting, rota planning, and financial target setting.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Support the smooth daily operation of the assigned departments (F&B, Rooms, and Front of House).
  • Lead and manage departmental activities to maintain high standards of productivity, service, and profitability.
  • Ensure Assistant Managers and Supervisors have clear responsibilities and achievable goals.
  • Assist the Deputy General Manager with administrative duties, including rota planning and operational logistics.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to operational standards across all areas, including service procedures and guest interactions.
  • Maintain strong controls and procedures to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Work within established budgets, focusing on F&B margins, labour costs, and team productivity.
  • Oversee stock control, monitor wastage, and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Set financial targets and support the team in achieving strong results through regular performance updates.
  • Contribute to sales, marketing, and social media initiatives in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing Department to drive revenue and customer engagement.
