SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR A JUNIOR PACKAGING TECHNOLOGIST:

· Desirable to have science or maths-based A Levels, BTEC or HND qualifications but not a requirement for the role.
· Maybe you have experience within packaging production, packaging material manufacturing or a very different busy production facility or environment.
· Maybe you have some experience as a Packaging Technologist in either the retail or packaging sectors.
· You have a good understanding of packaging processes and materials across many packaging formats.
· A working knowledge of print processes & ‘Print quality Management’ is desirable.
· Strong analytical skills, need the capacity to work with large amounts of data, extract relevant information and draw logical conclusions.
· You might have experience in CAD (ArtiosCAD/CAPE) or packaging prototyping skills if not, we can teach you!
· You can talk about the Packaging Industry, types of Packaging and processes, packaging materials and trends.
