Junior Paralegal Internship Programme
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience in the legal field while developing your skills in a supportive and professional environment. In addition to core paralegal responsibilities, we offer an outstanding in-house teaching programme and the chance to shadow experienced solicitors. Successful candidates may also be considered for qualifying work experience and future paid roles within the firm.
Responsibilities
- Assist the team with case preparation, including drafting documents and conducting legal research.
- Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters.
- Manage office tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and responding to correspondence.
- Utilise IT skills to create and manage documents using Word and Excel, as well as handle emails through Outlook.
- Ensure compliance with legal procedures and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in an office environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Proficient in IT applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.
