Description

Michelin Starred Chef Daniele Corona from DaNico restaurant are currently looking for a Junior Pastry Chef. Only candidates with at least 2 years of experience in Michelin starred restaurants will be considered.
The Junior Pastry Chef will prepare a variety of desserts, pastries or other sweet goods in our pastry production.
The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, flexibility and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • The primary focus will be supporting the Pastry Team Members.
  • This individual must have the ability to work independently, be a team player, manage complexity, work efficiently, be flexible and have a positive attitude.
  • Will be able to take direction, follow a recipe/identify potential errors, execute recipes from start to finish, and have a great eye for details.
  • Participates in providing creative solutions for any hurdles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Seeks to develop pastry skills and understand the business.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture
  • Ensure that all food is prepared to the standards as set out by the Executive Chef
  • Contribute to cleanliness and strict sanitization of pastry department, main and restaurant level
  • Follow all operating procedures that impact the effectiveness of the operation
  • Contribute to that all food preparation equipment is being used safety and correctly and that it is cleaned and maintained after each use
  • Assist were needed in Daily Food Ordering for entire Pastry program
  • Ensure that food waste is recorded and kept to a minimum.

Pay: $21.50-$23.00 per hour
