Responsibilities

DISCOVER THE ROLE

The Junior Payroll Officer will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive payroll services to a diverse portfolio of international clients. This position demands a solid understanding of payroll legislation and the ability to manage payroll processes from start to finish. You will utilize AI tools to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency, and collaborate closely with the HR Admin team, Client Service Managers, Client Service Directors, and international colleagues. By integrating payroll processes with other service lines, you will support client business objectives and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Your contributions will significantly enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our payroll function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of basic monthly payrolls, ensuring accurate and timely processing (keep workflow in Enate up to date) in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
  • Collect and review payroll input data from clients, ensuring it is fit for purpose and pushing back if the data is incorrect or incomplete. Maintain a proactive attitude to deliver a flawless service and payroll accurately the first time.
  • Input client data into payroll software, run payroll reports, and cross-check data using manual and automated payroll calculations.
  • Develop up-to-date knowledge of NL payroll legislation and product knowledge.
  • Participate in calls and meetings together with the Senior Payroll Officer or Supervisor HRP.
  • Adhere to delivery assurance policies, processes, and procedures (i.e. work instructions, TSL) up to date.
  • Undertake timely tax year-end delivery, ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations.
  • Answer payroll/client queries in a timely manner (within 24-48 hours).
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients.
  • Utilize (AI) tools to automate repetitive tasks, enhance data accuracy and less manual work
  • Always keep your time in D365 up to date and record it in real-time
