Description

At Trengo, we believe in a world where technology empowers the relationship between companies and their customers. That’s why our mission is to build an AI-powered customer engagement platform to replace repetitive work with meaningful conversations. How do we do that? Our software makes it easy for customer-facing teams to communicate with customers via multiple channels, all in one shared inbox. Email, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, live-chat, you name it. With a Series A investment of $36M led by Insight Partners and Peak Capital and becoming one of the four official WhatsApp Business Solutions Providers in the Netherlands, we empower our customers to scale their businesses and optimize the channels their clients truly prefer.
We’re a vibrant, growing company of around 90 employees based in Utrecht. Our People Team is a close-knit and driven group. We work closely together, sharing knowledge and supporting each other to create the best employee experience.

NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH:

  • Dutch labor law and employment contract management
  • Visa and 30% ruling procedures
  • Payroll and pension coordination (in collaboration with external providers)
  • Tools like Personio, NMBRS or Ashby.

THE ROLE

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including visa applications and 30% ruling coordination when applicable
  • Ensure accurate and compliant employee records in our HRIS and manage employment contracts and documentation
  • Prepare and submit monthly payroll inputs in coordination with our external payroll provider
  • Support the People Team Lead with employee relations and day-to-day HR queries
  • Jump in to assist the Talent Acquisition team during busy periods or absences (e.g., interview scheduling, ATS updates)
  • Work with the Workplace team to help plan and coordinate office events, team outings, and employee engagement initiatives
