Junior Physiotherapist / New Graduate Position
We are a well-organised, innovative Physiotherapy Practice based in Newtownforbes, Co. Longford. We provide a wide range of Physiotherapy Services including General Physiotherapy, Sports Rehabilitation, Physio4Kids and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy for Women & Men.
We are looking for a Junior Physiotherapist/ New Graduate to join our busy team.

PHYSIOTHERAPY DUTIES:

· Demonstrates a strong commitment to patient confidentiality, ethical practice, and professional conduct at all times.
· Completing assessments and treatments as requested under the direction of our Senior Physiotherapist. This includes one to one intervention with patients.
· Follow instructions, carry out tasks and adhere to safety procedures, as directed by the Senior Physiotherapist, in line with the practice policies.
· Only carry out techniques / programmes approved by the Senior Physiotherapist and seek the assistance of the Physiotherapist in changing any aspect of the patient’s treatment.
· Liaise with the Senior Physiotherapist, regarding patient’s progress and in organising group activities.
· To observe the patient’s behaviour, response and ability.
· Attend and participate in meetings, mentoring and in-service training when recommended.
· Assist with moving and handling of patients.
· Prepare the patients and environment for treatment.
· Assist in maintaining order, cleanliness and tidiness of treatment areas and equipment in accordance with infection control and department guidelines
· Maintain equipment in a clean and safe condition.
· Assist in stocking and maintaining supplies.
