Description
The Role As a Junior Piping Engineer at Nevita, you will be involved in technically interesting industrial projects within the process and energy sectors. The role is primarily based on-site with our client, offering you valuable hands-on experience in a real industrial environment. You will be part of the client’s project organization while having Nevita as your professional home, where you will receive ongoing support and guidance from experienced colleagues. In this role, you will contribute to the FEED and BED phases and gradually gain exposure to later project stages. Working closely with the Piping Lead, project management, and other engineering disciplines, you will continue to develop your technical skills and practical understanding of piping design in an operating plant environment. Your responsibilities include: Contributing to piping design and technical solutions in line with relevant codes and standards Assisting in the development of layouts, isometrics, and technical documentation Participating in interdisciplinary coordination and design reviews Supporting the development of solutions that are safe, buildable, and suitable for operation in an active facility Taking part in risk assessments and safety-related activities Supporting communication with the client and other stakeholders You will take on increasing responsibility over time as you grow in the role and become more confident in your technical expertise. Who Are You? We are looking for someone early in their career, with 1 to a few years of experience in piping engineering, or a related field. You have: A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field At least one year of relevant work experience (e.g. from an engineering consultancy or industrial environment) A basic understanding of piping design and industrial projects Experience or familiarity with engineering tools (experience in SmartPlant 3D is a plus) Good communication skills in both English and Swedish You have already gained some initial experience and are now looking to continue developing in a more hands-on and technically challenging environment.
