DESCRIPTION

We are searching for a passionate Junior Planner reporting to our Supply Chain Manager, responsible for maintaining the item master and assist in all planning duties supporting our ERP and MRP systems. Monitor and expedite overdue Purchase Orders.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • College diploma in Supply Chain or related discipline is preferred
  • Previous inventory control or purchasing experience (an asset)
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and set up new items in the system
  • Work with Logistics and Purchasing to expedite orders
  • Assist Maintenance and set up new items. ROP, EOQ Lead Times
  • Update Purchase Order Confirmations and answer EDI error message
  • Work with Customer Care and Planning to expedite orders
  • Ensure Change Orders and Cancelations are handled in a timely manner
  • Prepare and follow up on Later Reminder Report with Suppliers regularly
  • Resolve Discrepancies in ERP and with Supplier invoices
  • Assist with Loss or Damage claims
  • Provide backup for ERP and Manual, Project and Drop Ship purchasing as required
  • Assist with Cycle counting reconciliation and year-end inventory
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Management
