Within the Chemicals business unit of MOL Group the Polymer Business Unit is looking for the ideal candidate to fill the position of Polymer Applications Expert within the Polymer Application Engineering Team. Job Location: Tiszaújváros What do we do? The Polymer Applications Engineering Team is the primary technical link between MOL Group’s Polyolefin Product technologies and our valued customers. When it comes to polyolefin product selection for dedicated end-user applications and customer technical support it is our Team which takes the lead. We are present in the entire value chain from polymer production, qualification, and development to complex customer driven project implementations. Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities will include: Technical assistance of our customers - polyolefin processors - at their sites. Recommends suitable grades and processing conditions to speed-up product qualification process at the customer. Investigates customer´s quality complaints and executes on-site complaint investigation at polyolefin processors. Coordinates with internal stakeholders the root cause identification process of the complaint. Contributes to improvements of existing polyolefin product portfolio by proposing product development and/or product quality improvements based on market information and customer´s requirements. Performs regular on-site technical meetings with polyolefin processors, collects technical information, knowledge and experience and shares gained information with internal stakeholders. Our expectations: MS or BS degree in engineering or chemistry (preferred specialization in plastic materials, material engineering or polymer chemistry) Preferably 3 years of professional experience, within the petrochemical / chemical industry Good interpersonal and communication skills Analytical, problem-solving mindset Fluency in Hungarian and English languages Driving license type „B”, active driver Willing to travel and visit customer across Europe is a must Nice to have: Understanding of plastic industry, plastic processing experience Knowledge of an additional middle eastern European language At MOL Group, we know that our strength lies in diversity.
