This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with a good knowledge of Development Finance who is looking to advance their careers in Portfolio Management. Responsibilities Portfolio Management Manage the in-life activities of a loan portfolio (Annual Reviews, drawdowns, restructures, site visits, Early Warning Indicators (EWIs), MI/covenants and expiry dates etc.) Proactively engage with Credit and provide relevant updates in line with internal procedures. Collaborate with Construction Risk and NPL teams on underperforming loans. Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive efficiencies and raise standards across the team. Monitor portfolio trends and market conditions (horizon scanning). Risk & Compliance Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures. Stay alert to potential risks and escalate with the appropriate stakeholders. Examples include loan deterioration, customer financial stress, internal training requirements, software issues etc. Adopt a forward-looking approach to risk management to ensure risks are identified and escalated early in their life cycle. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication/site visits. Focus on customer retention and experience. Effectively manage risk through strong client communication and close collaboration with internal teams. Qualifications Able to demonstrate a proven working knowledge of development finance lending. Good understanding of credit risk. Competent in collating key information and submitting relevant documentation in support of loan restructures including loan modelling. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Able to commit to regular client site visits and hold a valid driving licence.
