Description Junior PR Account Executive 300Brand|Alexandria, VA (Hybrid) 300Brand is seeking a Junior PR Account Executive with 1–2 years of full-time, post-graduate public relations or communications experience to support public relations programs for our government IT clients. Candidates must have already completed their bachelor’s degree. This is not a campus or upcoming graduate role. This position is designed for early-career PR professionals who are ready to take on greater ownership in client programs while continuing to grow within a collaborative agency environment. Location: Alexandria, Va. (hybrid) Classification: Regular, full-time, salaried, non-exempt (eligible for overtime) What You’ll Do You will support and execute public relations initiatives for client accounts, working closely with senior team members while managing defined responsibilities across programs. Public relations responsibilities include: Drafting and editing written content such as press releases, media pitches, bylines, and client communications Researching reporters, outlets, legislation, and industry trends to inform media strategy Assisting with securing and coordinating press interviews and managing outreach tracking Supporting campaign execution and helping monitor performance against client goals Managing account administration tasks including timelines, meeting agendas and recaps, reporting, and deadline tracking Maintaining proactive communication with clients and internal teams Marketing and content support includes: Contributing to digital content initiatives including website copy, campaign materials, and social media content Coordinating deliverables and timelines with internal creative, research, digital, and content teams General responsibilities include: Developing familiarity with government and enterprise technology topics Collaborating across teams to ensure high-quality client delivery Managing project details and deadlines independently Participating in internal trainings and team meetings Requirements What We’re Looking For 1–2 years of full-time, post-graduate public relations or communications experience required Bachelor’s degree completed; PR, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred Demonstrated writing and editing experience in a professional setting Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Collaborative mindset and comfort working in a team environment Interest in media relations, storytelling, and public affairs Comfort using collaboration tools and marketing/PR technology platforms Internships alone are not sufficient for this role.
