Junior Presales / Solutions Engineering (IP & Datacom) Bratislava, Slovakia Main Responsibilities: Lead technical support for IP business opportunities, including customer workshops, solution design, technical proposals, and presentations. Partner closely with the Sales team to support account strategy, working with account managers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare technical responses for RFPs, RFQs, and tenders, including technical solution descriptions, BoQ/BoM preparation, scope assumptions, and risk identification. Design IP network solutions, including L2/L3 architecture, Segment Routing, QoS, traffic engineering, security integration, and high-availability concepts. Support demos and proof-of-concepts by preparing agendas, test plans, success criteria, and summary reports. Collect, analyze, and prioritize customer and field feedback, and translate it into clear requirements for R&D and product teams. Collaborate with channels and partners on solution sizing, joint proposals, and technical alignment, and support partner enablement through basic training and technical Q&A. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 0–3 years of experience in networking presales, solution engineering, implementation, or operations, preferably with exposure to IP/WAN technologies. Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, NAT, and QoS concepts. Ability to prepare clear technical documentation and deliver effective presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong communication and commercial awareness, with the ability to explain technical topics in a business-oriented way and support customer discussions. Experience supporting proposals, presentations, customer meetings, or workshops is an advantage. Strong organizational skills, proactive attitude, and ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
