Job Description 1. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN, Kaizen) with a strong focus on AI and robotic applications. Design and develop basic AI-driven tools and applications to improve production efficiency, quality control, and data management. Analyze production data to identify automation opportunities and optimize manufacturing processes. 2. System Maintenance & Support Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for AI systems, including servers, GPUs, and specialized frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). Troubleshoot, resolve, and maintain automation systems (PLCs, robotics) to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Develop and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and SOPs for both new and existing automation systems. 3. Troubleshooting & Debugging Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AI models, robotics, and infrastructure to ensure system stability and performance. Provide hands-on support to quickly identify and fix operational issues affecting production. 4. Project Deployment & Execution Collaborate with global and local teams to plan and execute the deployment of new automation, AI, and robotics projects. Work closely with AI Engineers and Data Scientists to ensure seamless integration of AI models into production environments. Coordinate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business and operational requirements. 5. Monitoring & Optimization Continuously monitor AI system performance, analyze logs, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance system reliability, scalability, and efficiency. 6. Data Management Support data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing activities to prepare high-quality datasets for AI model training and validation. Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards. 7. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, software engineering, product management, and operations, to meet project goals. Provide clear communication and technical guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 8. Documentation & Reporting Maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and system updates. Prepare regular reports for management on project progress and system performance. 9. Other Duties Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support departmental and organizational objective Qualifications 1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control Automation, Computer Science, or a related technical field. A combination of relevant experience and certifications may also be considered. 2. Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a similar role. Fresh graduates with strong academic performance and an open mindset are also welcome. 3. Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Control Automation, including PLCs and HMI systems, as well as industrial robotics. Solid foundation in computer science principles and understanding of AI concepts, including machine learning and deep learning. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI, such as Python (C# is a plus). Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Basic data analysis skills to support AI model development and process optimization. 4. Process & Improvement Mindset: Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, such as LEAN, Six Sigma, DMAIC, GSTD is an advantage. 5. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
