SUMMARY OF POSITION:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled and experienced Procurement Analyst to join its dynamic team.
  • This role is responsible for procurement activities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and best value for the City in support of public health initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of government procurement rules, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Experience in a large, complex organization is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Issue solicitations, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Analyze proposals and bids, and conduct cost and price analyses.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with federal, state, and city regulations, including the NYC Procurement Policy Board (PPB) rules. Prepare detailed reports on procurement status, metrics, and outcomes.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing expert advice on procurement strategies and procedures.
  • Work closely with legal, finance, and program teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and a strong problem-solver. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
