Location: Gurgaon | Hybrid Work (3 Days From Office) About The Role We're looking for a Junior Product Designer to join our design team and help create beautiful, intuitive financial experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career designers who are passionate about craft, eager to learn, and excited to make an impact on products used by millions. You'll work closely with senior designers, product managers, engineers, and researchers on real product features—from early exploration to shipped designs. You'll receive mentorship, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What You'll Do Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile products Contribute to product features across investing, banking, and financial tools Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand requirements and constraints Participate in design critiques and incorporate feedback to improve your work Conduct basic user research and usability testing to validate design decisions Help maintain and evolve our design system and component library Create prototypes to communicate interaction patterns and animations Present your work to cross-functional teams and explain your design rationale Learn about financial products, user behavior, and fintech design best practices Assist senior designers on larger projects and strategic initiatives Stay current with design trends, tools, and industry developments What We're Looking For 1-3 years of product design experience (internships, bootcamps, or professional work) Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills and design thinking process Proficiency in Figma (or willingness to learn quickly) Basic understanding of mobile and web design patterns (iOS, Android, responsive web) Solid grasp of typography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy Interest in fintech, finance, or solving complex problems through design Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions Eagerness to learn and receive constructive feedback Attention to detail and commitment to quality Collaborative mindset and team-first attitude Ability to manage time and balance multiple projects Growth mindset with curiosity about AI, emerging technologies, and design innovation Nice to Have Degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) Understanding of design systems and component-based design Basic prototyping skills (Principle, ProtoPie, After Effects) Exposure to user research methods (interviews, usability testing, surveys) Familiarity with accessibility principles and inclusive design Basic understanding of HTML/CSS Personal interest in investing, personal finance, or crypto Experience with A/B testing or data-informed design Awareness of AI tools and how they're being used in design What You'll Learn How to design for millions of users in a regulated industry Best practices for mobile-first product design How to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints Design systems thinking and creating scalable solutions Working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment Using data and research to validate and improve designs How AI is transforming financial products and what that means for design The art of presenting work and defending design decisions
