Job Description

As a member of our global product management team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing initiatives that drive the strategic growth of Miltenyi Biotec’s Flow Analysis brand worldwide.

  • You will regularly monitor and analyze market trends to identify emerging opportunities and evolving customer needs. Based on your insights, you will generate ideas that inform the enhancement of our current software portfolio and guide the development of future software solutions that complement our hardware offerings.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for managing the interaction between product management and key business units, including Research & Development, Production, Technical Support, and Sales. Your ability to coordinate across these teams will ensure the successful execution of product strategies and the delivery of high-impact solutions.
  • You will serve as the primary point of contact for your product portfolio, supporting local marketing teams, sales colleagues, and selected key customers with expert guidance and strategic input.
  • Additionally, you will lead strategic marketing initiatives such as conducting business area analyses, planning budgets for global markets, and aligning project activities in collaboration with other product managers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You hold a university degree in life sciences and have gained post-graduate research experience, particularly in the use of flow cytometry and/or data analysis software tools. Ideally, you bring professional industry experience to the life sciences or data analysis software sector. Experience in a regulated medical environment would be considered a strong advantage.
  • You have a proven ability to build and maintain cross-functional networks, effectively collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across departments.
  • You are confident working closely with R&D teams, software engineers, and sales professionals, and you are comfortable serving as the primary point of contact for these groups.
  • Your strong communication and interpersonal skills are evident in your interactions with key opinion leaders and in your ability to present complex topics to diverse audiences.
  • In addition, you possess excellent time and project management skills. You are a team player with a creative mindset and a dedicated, solution-oriented work ethic.
  • You are fluent in English and have a successful track record of working in interdisciplinary teams. You are also willing to travel internationally for up to 25% of your time.
