ROLE PURPOSE:

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Production Controller to be responsible for the planning, coordination and control of all production within Chess. The position is responsible for the planning of manufacturing requirements generating a requirement plan from Sales Order Info and working with the supply chain team to organise purchases to meet customer demand and delivery requirements. Joining the Production Control & Planning team and reporting to the Production Control & Planning Manager, the Junior Production Planner will be responsible for placing new demand on the MRP system, raising SUBCON Works Orders for both internal and external part manufacture and administrative tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take Sales Order Information and generate Production Requirements and Planning.
• Organising kitting for shop built assemblies ensuring kits are in a suitable state for manufacture.
• Organising purchase of necessary components with Supply Chain.
• Progressing Purchasing.
• Organising delivery documentation ensuring all customer order requirements are met.
• Assist with the planning of the internal Machine Shop.
• Ensure that all documentation is in accordance with BS EN9001.
