PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· A recent graduate or candidate with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a mechanical/electrical engineering or production support role
· Qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (degree or equivalent)
· A keen problem-solver with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn on the job
· Basic mechanical and/or electrical maintenance knowledge
· Good communication and teamwork skills; eager to contribute to a collaborative environment
· Familiarity with food/cosmetic manufacturing standards (GMP, HACCP) is a bonus but not essential
· Flexibility to support production needs, including occasional out-of-hours support

THE ROLE
We are looking for a Junior Production Engineer to join our high-performing engineering and facilities team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their engineering career who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to support and optimise our blending, filling, and packing lines. You’ll also be involved in maintaining equipment, identifying improvements, and ensuring that our production runs smoothly and safely.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist in the day-to-day running of production equipment across blending, filling, and packing lines
· Support preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs of mechanical and electrical systems
· Work collaboratively with the production, quality, and operations teams to enhance process reliability and efficiency
· Contribute to updating and developing SOPs and maintenance logs for equipment
· Support equipment installation, layout changes, and upgrade projects under supervision
· Assist with data collection and analysis to help identify improvement opportunities
· Help maintain site and facilities infrastructure as part of planned maintenance
· Learn and promote best practices in health, safety, and GMP compliance
· Participate in cross-functional training to build technical and operational knowledge
