Under the responsibility of the Director of Production, the Junior Production Engineer works collaboratively with production managers to support project requirements, production execution, and adherence to quality standards. This role focuses on analyzing and optimizing CNC manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure productivity.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Familiarity with machining thorugh internship, or projects is an asset;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite (Word excel, power point);
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Bilingual (French/English): Ability to read and interpret English work instructions;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with production managers to understand project requirements, production execution, and quality standards.
  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Ensure that all components meet the specified quality standards by implementing and monitoring quality control measures and understanding SPC analysis.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner to minimize downtime and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to production processes, changes, and improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
