About the project We’re proud to be delivering the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), and we’re looking for the best people to help make it happen. QTMP involves the design, manufacture and maintenance of 65 new six-car passenger trains to support Cross River Rail and the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games. These trains will be built at a new, purpose-built facility in Torbanlea on the Fraser Coast. Key responsibilities * Build and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders internally * Month end process including journals, reconciliations & analysis * Assist with the monthly reporting pack, project costing & KPIs reports. * Assist with the maintenance of cost models. * Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information * Provide guidance & support to the business with financial processes/systems/purchasing * Identify and assess areas for continuous process improvements About You * Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experience * 1-2 years’ experience in finance and accounting roles * Currently completing or willing to complete a CPA/CA/CFA (highly desirable) * Previous experience in project accounting within a multi-disciplinary environment advantageous * Previous experience with JDEGS or large ERP system advantageous and strong Excel capability * Self-motivated, results-focused and able to work under pressure * Collaborative team player with strong work ethic and the ability to manage competing priorities Why Join Downer Rail and Transit Systems?
