We are looking for a Junior Project Controls Manager to join our growing UK team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced project professionals, supporting the planning and control of high-value, mission-critical programmes across the Defence and wider Engineering sectors.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

• Some exposure to project controls, planning, or project management (internships, placements, or junior roles welcome).
  Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
  Familiarity with project controls tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent (desirable).
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to learn quickly.
  Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) – essential for working on Defence projects.

• Support the setup and maintenance of project control frameworks (schedule, cost, risk, and change management).
• Assist in developing integrated project schedules, tracking milestones, and analysing performance against baselines.
• Collect and validate cost and resource data to support forecasting and reporting.
• Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
• Contribute to governance processes, ensuring compliance with client and internal frameworks.
• Learn and apply best practices in project controls under the guidance of senior colleagues.
