Apex Geomatics is seeking a Junior Project Coordinator to play a critical role in supporting on-site delivery of a large-scale industrial project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. The Role: Working closely with project leadership and field teams at the site level, this role supports efficient project execution through strong document control, quality assurance, and administrative coordination. It ensures drawings, revisions, and RFIs are accurately controlled and communicated, so field teams work from the latest issued information. Success requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Role Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage project documentation (RFIs, drawings, submittals, revisions). Maintain document control systems and ensure version accuracy. Support communication between field teams, project managers, clients, and contractors. Assist with daily field reporting and project documentation. Support project mobilization, logistics, and coordination. Administer and track Labour, Equipment & Materials (LEM) reporting. Assist with site-level HSE documentation and compliance requirements. Ensure all project records are organized, accurate, and audit-ready. Role Requirements: Post-secondary education with a degree, diploma or certificate in administration, project management or other relevant field, is preferred. Certified Engineering Technology (CET) designation or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) status is an asset. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in project administration, coordination, or a related role. Possess a basic understanding of industrial worksite operations, logistics and project workflows. Experience working in an industrial construction or civil engineering company is beneficial. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Procore considered an asset. Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, effective time management, and proven problem-solving ability. Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
