KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Collaborates with internal Estimating, Sales, Project Management, Design, and Production teams.
  • Receives direction and can work independently to complete tasks.
  • Maintains tracking sheets, databases, and information logs.
  • Interprets drawings, renderings, and specifications to define project parameters.
  • Designs preliminary project solutions based on varying degrees of information and assumptions.
  • Knowledgeable about a wide range of topics related to design, fabrication, construction, and the built environment.
  • Research products, materials, and technologies for fabrication materials, processes, and techniques to meet everchanging project landscape.
  • Sources vendors, gathers quotes, and consults with in-house assets to determine accurate project costs.
  • Prepares cost estimates and budgets for projects with values ranging from $10,000 to $10,000,000 within 2 to 10 days.
  • Collates work from multiple sources into detailed, client-facing proposals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in design, fabrication, construction, or a related field.
  • Well organized, task-oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Easily adapts to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in 3D digital modelling - Rhino3D preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
