Description
Junior Project Manager Ready to launch your career in project management and make a real impact from day one? Eager to develop your skills in a global organization that values growth and innovation? You’ll play a key role in supporting project delivery, collaborating with expert teams and learning the foundations of leadership and client service! This full-time hybrid position is based in our Mexico City office, with flexible work options available later. The role supports multiple business areas and a phenomenal opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing team in our Global Capability Center. What the Day Will Look Like Our junior project managers coordinate all phases of projects—initiation, planning, execution, control and closure—by understanding project scope, objectives and team roles to ensure effective teamwork and timely completion. They assemble project teams, allocate resources, develop schedules and communicate project status with various managers as needed. How This Opportunity Is Different You will have a significant impact on crafting project outcomes right from the beginning, collaborating closely with seasoned professionals in an encouraging and cooperative setting. Unlike other companies, Aon empowers you to contribute to process improvements and standard methodologies, while fostering a culture of recognition, inclusivity and ethical leadership. Here, you’ll not only manage projects—you’ll help define how they’re delivered. A few highlights: Develop detailed project plans and coordinate execution to achieve project goals. Monitor project performance, identify variances and implement corrective actions using industry-leading tools and techniques. Facilitate collaborator alignment by conducting kick-off meetings and setting clear expectations. Handle changes to project scope, schedule and costs, ensuring plans remain accurate and up to date. Support in standardizing processes and suggesting improvements, using shared services and innovative ways specific to Aon’s delivery model. Skills and Experience That Will Lead to Success Thriving in this role at Aon requires strong organization, clear communication, teamwork and adaptability. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and a commitment to ethical, inclusive teamwork are also crucial. A proactive approach to learning and process improvement will help you succeed. A few critical skills include: Project planning and time management, with ideally 1-3 years of experience in this area. Engagement with fellow colleagues and relationship-building and an ability to communicate at various levels of the organization. Accuracy while working under tight timeframes and handling multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. The top candidates will have experience in the health insurance industry, project budgeting/costing knowledge and software methodology development processes. PMP or CAPM certification or working toward certification within 12 months. English proficiency, at C1 level. How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce. Plus, our agile environment allows you to manage your wellbeing and work/life balance, ensuring you can be your best self at Aon. Furthermore, all colleagues enjoy two “Global Wellbeing Days” each year, encouraging you to take time to focus on yourself. We offer a variety of working style solutions for our colleagues as well. Our continuous learning culture inspires and equips you to learn, share and grow, helping you achieve your fullest potential. As a result, at Aon, you are more connected, more relevant, and more valued. Aon values an innovative and inclusive workplace where all colleagues feel empowered to be their authentic selves.
