SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  • Experience in project management, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional projects from concept to delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive product development processes, engineering principles, and quality management systems.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of automotive projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met within scope, time, and budget. You will work closely with engineering, production, supply chain, and other departments to manage product development, production timelines, and client requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage complex automotive projects from concept to launch, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality assurance, and supply chain to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and budget tracking.
  • Monitor project performance, report on progress, and implement corrective actions when necessary to meet project goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client and business objectives.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Manage project documentation, including technical specifications, compliance reports, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure projects adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards specific to the automotive industry.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise project processes and outcomes.
