Description A Junior Project Manager/Estimator supports the planning, coordination, and financial management of projects while assisting with cost estimation and bid preparation. This role bridges pre-construction and project execution, ensuring accurate pricing, efficient project delivery, and strong communication between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients. This role handles both administrative and hands-on work while managing construction projects. Essential functions Support contract administration and document control Perform material submittals and respond to RFIs during the construction cycle Track budgets, change orders, and cost reports Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams Monitor project progress and assist in resolving issues Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Support close-out documentation and final reporting Review drawings, specifications, and project documents Assist with preparing cost estimates as well as takeoffs Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes Assist in value engineering and cost-saving analysis Maintain cost databases and historical pricing records Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in both a professional office and outdoor work environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While working outdoors the employee may be exposed to all weather conditions. Physical Demands The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to climb and descend a flight of stairs as needed. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Extended hours, nights and weekend work may be necessary based on business needs. Travel This position requires no regular and customary travel; however, travel on occasion may be required to visit customer or vendor sites, and meeting the needs of the business.
