Responsibilities

WHAT WILL I BE DOING IN MY NEW ROLE?

  • Taking full responsibility for the successful execution and delivery key projects to clients.
  • Developing an efficient programme of work and strategy for the project
  • Managing project staff and establishing a positive team culture within the assigned project
  • Liaising with clients to ensure effective client-centred communication
  • Attending client/site meetings
  • Coordinating with other project managers, managers, and sub-contractors
  • Communicating effectively with all relevant internal departments in order to get the best possible outcome on projects.
  • Managing the project contract and subcontracts including invoicing and cashflow
  • Assisting sales with timings, technical support, and client meetings
  • Implementing company policies and procedures and ensuring compliance from site teams
  • Completion of project RAMS
  • Identifying new business development opportunities
  • Identifying and actioning potential Health & Safety breaches
  • Promoting a safety culture and suggesting improvements where needed.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

  • A degree or diploma in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Previous experience in a project support environment
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Commercial Awareness
  • Budget & resource planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software (MS Project, Smartsheets, Trello, or similar)
  • Fluency in MS Office in particular applications.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to learn
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Rights to work in Ireland
  • Valid EU manual drivers’ licence
