QUALIFICATIONS AND/OF EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong Computer skills in Excel, Word Pro, Auto Cad, Microsoft Project manger and Adobe reader.
  • Construction Engineering Technology or Civil Engineering Technician certificate or Degree, any Architectural Certificates, Certified Project Manager, etc.
  • Valid drivers’ license with a good driver abstract.
  • Able to read blueprints and understand elevations.
  • 1-2 years of similar experience (Project Coordinator or Project Administrator) an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Work along side the Project Manager and will be responsible for assisting in the successful planning and execution of projects.
  • Assist in all phases of the construction project, including; coordinating workers, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, work is proceeding on schedule and within budget and maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the job.
  • Assist in hiring of sub trades, purchasing of materials, complete the daily and weekly project schedule, etc.
  • Maintain and manage all administrative documentation generated on projects.
  • Attend various site meetings with clients, architects, engineers, etc. as may be required and maintain an excellent working relationship with them.
  • Review the project costs vs. planned cost and report to the Project Manager.
