We are hiring a Junior QA Engineer A bout Garment Io Garment IO is a fast-growing technology company specializing in smart factory solutions for the garment industry. Our mission is to revolutionize manufacturing by providing real-time monitoring, data analytics, and automation tools to enhance productivity and efficiency. We are seeking a skilled and proactive QA Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for optimizing production processes in the garment sector. Duties & Responsibilities Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications. Execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality and ensure product quality. Perform API testing using Postman and Rest Assured to verify backend functionality and integrations. Log and track defects using test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla), ensuring timely resolution. Participate in functional, Regression, and user acceptance testing to ensure system stability and compliance with requirements. Collaborate closely with QA engineers, developers, and product managers to clarify requirements and improve testing coverage. Maintain clear, well-structured documentation for test cases, results, and automation scripts. Support CI/CD processes by integrating automated tests within GitHub Actions pipelines. Participate in root cause analysis discussions and provide input for continuous improvement. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 1–2 years of experience in software testing. Experience with SDLC and various testing types (functional, regression, etc.). Experience with test management and bug tracking tools. Experience with API testing using Postman and Rest Assured. Proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG). Familiarity with CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions. Detail-oriented with a strong willingness to learn. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
