Job Title: Junior Quality & EHS Specialist Job Location: Prague Main responsibilities Quality Management Developing and implementing Project Quality Plan in line with Huawei policy; Formulating quality Acceptance standards of project and confirming the standards with customers, subcontractors and partners Approving key project milestones with regards to compliance to Project Quality plans and requirements Following up, investigating and recording all accidents and quality problems, ensuring they are handled in compliance with local laws and ensuring the effective implementation of corrective and precautionary measures. Checking the quality rules of all subcontractors to ensure they are in accord with requirements of Huawei; Assessing quality level of subcontractors and partners Ensuring the implementation of quality measures through process control, supervision and inspection. Operating Huawei quality tools Quality KPI monitoring and quality reporting Quality Audits Organizing, coaching and coordinating the EHS and Quality improvement program and monitoring their progress and ensure the compliance to International standards including ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO14000, OHSAS 18001 ISO45001 and local / corporate regulations; Communicate with customers to understand their EHS and Quality management requirements, coordinate the external auditing; Ensuring compliance to all documented processes, procedures, standards and specifications in preparation for audit (internal or external); Ensuring that policies, procedures, standards and methodologies are current and that they are followed, giving trainings about quality management to PM, Engineers and other related staff in representative offices; EHS Management Developing Safety Policies: Creating and implementing EHS policies and procedures that ensure a safe working environment. Risk Assessment: Identifying potential hazards in the workplace and devising strategies to mitigate these risks. Compliance Management: Ensuring that the organization adheres to all relevant health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations. Emergency Response Planning: Creating and maintaining emergency response plans for various potential incidents including the communication with local authorities (e.g. fire departments) Employee Training and Engagement: Conducting training sessions for employees on safety practices and promoting a culture of safety awareness. Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigating workplace incidents or accidents and reporting findings to appropriate parties. Environmental Management: Implementing strategies for waste management, pollution control, sustainable practices and dangerous goods Health and Wellness Programs: Developing programs to support employee health and wellness. Continuous Improvement: Regularly reviewing and updating EHS policies and procedures to improve safety standards. Stakeholder Communication: Communicating effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders about EHS matters Reporting: Providing EHS reports and other regular communication (e.g. newsletters) Your profile University education in telco, civil works, electrical or EHS/Quality direction (or relevant experience).
