We’re looking for a motivated Junior Quality Engineer to help us boost product quality and champion smarter, more efficient processes. This is a full-time, permanent role at our Castleblayney site in Ireland, where you’ll work side-by-side with our Quality Manager and learn from an experienced team.
You’ll be at the heart of our lean manufacturing system, supporting the Quality Pillar framework to keep our products compliant, our processes efficient, and our performance outstanding. Working closely with Operations, you’ll get hands-on experience solving real-world problems, driving improvements, and building the skills to launch a successful career in Quality.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a full understanding of product quality critical characteristics, standards, and third-party certification requirements.
  • Apply in-process and final product specifications effectively to ensure consistent conformity.
  • Maintain accurate inspection and test plans within SAP, ensuring they are fully understood and followed.
  • Support production team leaders in applying quality standards to all manufactured products.
  • Carry out product quality inspections and conduct measurement system analyses (including gauge R&R).
  • Identify opportunities to improve production methods or equipment to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Cooperate with management on site-wide continual improvement programmes.
  • Lead reporting, investigation, and corrective action implementation following accidents, incidents, or events.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues, including customer complaints.
  • Conduct internal process, product, and supplier audits to ensure ongoing compliance with internal, customer, and third-party requirements.
  • Support third-party product certification activities and group compliance audits.
  • Promote recognised problem-solving tools and techniques to investigate and prevent quality issues.
  • Lead improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce the overall cost of quality.
  • Perform regular internal audits of Kingspan controls, processes, and procedures to identify deficiencies or opportunities for improvement.
  • Plan and implement robust corrective actions to eliminate causes of non-conformities.
