Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • You are proficient in Python, including data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as Pandas, Tkinter, and NumPy
  • You have experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, demonstrating the ability to utilize functions, charts, and pivot tables effectively
  • You possess a strong interest in financial markets, trading concepts, and investment strategies
  • A basic understanding of risk management practices and compliance regulations is advantageous.
  • You have solid analytical skills to evaluate data and identify trends or insights
  • You demonstrate strong attention to detail in data handling and report preparation
  • You are able to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively support senior traders
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas and findings clearly
  • You possess proficient English communication skills (German is a plus but not required)
Responsibilities
  • Become a market maker for equities, ETFs (equity and fixed income), and other ETPs, providing liquidity and facilitating efficient trading
  • Collaborate with senior traders to prepare detailed reports and presentations on trading performance
  • Support the development and optimization of trading systems, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Design, refine, and implement trading algorithms to enhance execution strategies, improve trading efficiency, and adapt to changing market conditions
  • Maintain and update trading systems and databases to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, price movements, and trading volumes to inform decision-making
  • Understand and apply risk management practices and compliance within trading operations
  • Leverage your programming skills to automate data processing, enhance data visualization, and streamline workflows through technical solutions developed in Python
  • Assist in optimizing liquidity management and treasury operations to ensure effective cash flow, funding strategies, and risk mitigatio
