As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will support the senior commercial team in managing the costs and contracts associated with metal and façade construction projects. You’ll assist in procurement, cost planning, valuations, and contract administration, gaining invaluable experience and development in a fast-paced, specialist environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or placements included)
• Strong interest in metal and façade systems is preferred
• Good understanding of construction drawings and materials
• Proficient in MS Excel; experience with estimating software is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a specialist sector

• Assist with preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tenders
• Support procurement and negotiation of subcontracts and suppliers
• Track project variations and change orders
• Measure quantities from drawings (manual and digital take-offs)
• Assist with preparation of interim valuations and final accounts
• Monitor project costs and cash flow forecasts
• Help manage subcontractor payments and documentation
• Attend site visits and project meetings as required
• Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations
