Job Description Kick-start your engineering career in R&D! As a Junior R&D Documentation Engineer, you’ll work hands-on with packaging lines and machinery design — helping ensure our equipment meets safety and compliance standards while supporting documentation that keeps innovation moving. Core Responsibilities In this position, you are playing a vital role in supporting the broader organization by ensuring our machinery is aligned with all regulatory needs. More specifically, you will: Help ensure that documentation follows CE/UL marking requirements and other regulatory needs. Assist in developing drawings, layouts, and operational instructions for packing machinery. Support effective documentation version control in centralized systems. Support machine installations and upgrades. Work with technical drawings and layouts using software like AutoCad. Collaborate with engineers and project participants to gather and structure relevant data. This position is located in our Kladno manufacturing site and there is no relocation assistance offered for this role. Play your part in our team succeeding The purpose of the Research & Development, Packing and Packaging (R&D P&P) organization is to support and implement the Engineering & Workplace (E&W) business plan by ensuring that all new products are assembled and packed into optimal packaging efficiently on standardized equipment platforms. The R&D P&P team is responsible for packing platforms (equipment), packaging platforms (materials and constructions), product master data, and global industrial engineering. This foundation is essential for the global production of LEGO® products. Do you have what it takes? You are comfortable reading and creating engineering drawings, manuals, and machine instructions. You can interpret and produce engineering schematics and user instructions. Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, or similar layout/design software Precise and organized, and motivated to learn new skills and grow in a technical environment. Proactive and solution-focused, with a dedicated approach to achieving results. Strong communicator and great teammate, able to collaborate effectively across functions.
