POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. This role involves prescreening, interviewing, orientations, onboarding, and referring applicants for various positions within the company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of clerical and specialized functions across the organization, as well as a basic knowledge of the company’s structure. Our mission in the Recruitment Department is to identify the best candidates and ensure a positive experience for all applicants. This position requires travel from Hialeah Gardens to Margate approximately one to two times per week.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English/Spanish.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Promote job openings at job fairs and community locations.
  • Expand and maintain a diverse candidate pool for future opportunities.
  • Provide detailed information about job opportunities to potential candidates.
  • Screen and refer qualified applicants to supervisors, including initial screening for work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
  • Post job openings on various employment sites, targeting specific locations.
  • Maintain records of recruiting activities.
  • Meet with managers to discuss vacancies and recruitment strategies.
  • Schedule and attend job/career fairs with appropriate staff to attract qualified applicants.
  • Develop creative strategies to attract applicants.
  • Prepare recruitment effort reports for managers’ meetings.
  • Keep the applicant tracking log up to date.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of all applications to ensure completion.
  • Administer employee drug tests upon job offers.
  • Conduct new hire stay interviews and exit interviews to provide management with insights on retention and attraction.
