EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

2-year college degree or equivalent work experience.

  1. College-level or Certification in one or more of the following:
  • Human Resources Development /Recruiting
  • Communications
  • Personnel Relations
  • Business Administration
  1. Minimum Two (2) years prior training, teaching, or related Human Resources experience.
  2. Creative ability and writing proficiency.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  4. Excellent Communicator.
  5. Knowledge of Federal and State Labor Laws in Virginia.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE OF JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Junior Recruiter plays a vital role in the hiring process and works closely with the hiring manager, area supervisors, and executive director to fill positions with the most qualified candidates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Recruit and interview applicants to fill vacancies.
  2. Onboard new hires and ensure all paperwork is signed and all documentation is completed.
  3. Research and utilize different platforms to find candidates other than standard job boards.
  4. Write and place employment ads to post on job boards and recruiting sites.
  5. Review, screen, and process applications, resumes, and hiring documents.
  6. Make sure paperwork is done for all background checks for employees.
  7. Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
  8. Assist with additional projects, as assigned.
  9. Know that any documents obtained or created electronically for or by Rock Solid Janitorial, Inc. remain the property of Rock Solid Janitorial, Inc.
  10. Travel is required to recruit and onboard new hires.
