  • Support the obtainment and maintenance of authorizations across Leaf Space’s network, doing so for every satellite mission supported by Leaf Space
  • Support the expansion of Leaf Space’s ground station network by researching national telecommunication, satellite, and remote sensing regulatory frameworks around the world.
  • Support the drafting of deliverables as part of Leaf Space’s advocacy activities, consultancy services, and in line with Leaf Space’s duties as active member of industry associations, such as the Commercial SmallSat Spectrum Management Association.
  • As part of these activities, the candidate will
  • Coordinate with Leaf Space’s Mission Management team and Sites Management team to ensure the timely obtainment of authorizations as needed.
  • Engage with Leaf Space current and potential customers and partners (they build and launch satellites!), assisting them in navigating the multiple telecom regulatory frameworks across which Leaf Space operates.
  • Engage with National and International Regulatory Authorities to get familiar with national and international telecom regulatory frameworks, to obtain radiofrequency authorizations, and to advocate on behalf of Leaf and its customers’ interests.
  • Experience hands-on the practical side of Space and Telecommunication Law
  • Learn fast, and a lot!
