Responsibilities:

  • Market Development: Support growth opportunities in RNG supply and demand, including production and transportation fuel applications (CNG/LNG).
  • Deal Support: Contribute to commercial negotiations, contract reviews, and relationship management with counterparties.
  • Research & Analysis: Monitor pricing, supply/demand trends, and regulatory changes to inform trading strategies.
  • Business Development: Maintain sales pipelines, track opportunities, and assist origination managers with client outreach.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior traders to evaluate deals and develop innovative trading solutions.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations on market trends, regulatory updates, and emerging business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field. MBA or Master’s in Finance/Economics is a strong asset.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience, including internships or commercial roles in trading, energy, finance, or related fields. Exceptional recent graduates with a strong record of achievement will also be considered.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Genuine interest in energy markets, sustainability, and financial trading.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Must be based in Montreal or Canada.
  • Language: English fluency required due to regular interaction with stakeholders across North America and international markets.
  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US, and other countries across the globe where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company’s activities to avoid this requirements.
