Position Overview: The Junior Research Analyst supports the Marine Corps Systems Command Senior Support. The analyst will support senior researchers and government stakeholders by collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data to inform policy, operational planning, and strategic decision-making. Benefits: · Medical, Dental, Vision (82% of employees’ premiums paid by the company, 25% towards dependents) · HSA / FSA Medical Plans · PTO · Flexible Work Environment and Encourage Work/Life Balance · 401K with Company Match · Observes all federal holidays · Professional Development/Tuition Reimbursement Program · Annual Career Development Process Job Type: Full-time/Exempt Location: Hybrid/Remote out of Quantico, VA Anticipated Start Date: 6/1/2026 Travel Requirement – Approximately 10% Position Responsibilities: Informs Strategic plans and roadmaps Strenth Weakness Oppurtunities Conduct qualitative and quantitative research related to defense, national security, military operations, and policy Collect, review, and synthesize data from government reports, classified and unclassified databases, academic literature, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) Support threat, trend, and capability assessments Assist with policy analysis, program evaluations, and strategic studies Clean, validate, and maintain datasets to ensure accuracy and compliance with government standards Develop briefing materials, reports, and executive summaries for government clients Create charts, tables, and visualizations to clearly communicate findings Track geopolitical, technological, and operational trends relevant to defense missions Maintain documentation of research methodologies, sources, and assumptions Support senior analysts with ad hoc research tasks and time-sensitive requests Requirements Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word; familiarity with PowerPoint Ability to analyze complex information and summarize it clearly for non-technical audiences Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and ability to follow government documentation standards U.S. citizenship required Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (active clearance preferred but not required) Preferred Requirements/Education: Prior working experience supporting a General Officer or a Flag Officer's front office. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
