Description
The Brain and Mind Institute is recruiting Junior Research Assistants with good organisational and interpersonal skills to conduct research studies concerning language learning across the lifespan. Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Linguistics, Psychology or language-related disciplines; (ii) native command of Cantonese; (iii) good communication and interpersonal skills; (iv) the ability to establish positive relationships with children; (v) willing to work on weekends; and (vi) basic IT proficiency, including Excel and Word processing, as well as experience to work with online meeting tools. The appointee(s) will be responsible for (a) conducting test on infants; (b) administering assessments to typically developing children or children with Autism; (c) maintaining effective communication and collaboration with participant families; (d) assisting with preliminary data analysis; and (e) performing additional assigned duties as required. On-the-job training will be provided. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
