We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Reservoir Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support reservoir engineering activities including data analysis, reservoir modeling, and performance forecasting to optimize hydrocarbon recovery. As a Junior Reservoir Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in building and updating reservoir simulation models.
  • Analyzing production and pressure data to evaluate reservoir performance.
  • Supporting reserves estimation and reporting in accordance with industry standards.
  • Collaborating with geoscientists and production engineers to integrate subsurface data.
  • Participating in field development planning and optimization studies.
  • Preparing technical reports and presentations for internal and client use.
  • Contributing to well testing analysis and interpretation.
  • Maintaining databases and ensure data quality and integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor background in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Geoscience or related field.
  • Have 0–2 years of experience in reservoir engineering or related internships.
  • Have familiarity with reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG, Petrel RE). This will be an added advantage.
  • Have basic understanding of reservoir management principles and recovery mechanisms.
  • Have great analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
