QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a math, science or technology related field of study

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team in the Business Transformation division builds bots critical to business operations. As a member of the RPA team, the Junior RPA Developer will assist with the design and creation of software automations, tasks consolidation, and improvement of departmental efficiencies.
Assists in the translation of business requirements into automated solutions and supports projects throughout their lifetime. The Junior RPA Developer regularly interacts with a diverse group of stakeholders to determine what tasks may be automated, does all the coding necessary for the project as assigned by the Senior Developers and Managers., and performs extensive quality assurance and training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists the Senior Developers with the design and building of production-grade solutions on the Automation Anywhere RPA platform that are resilient, efficient, and easily maintained.
  • Assists in all aspects of the development life cycle, including architecture, requirement gathering, development, testing, training, implementation, and support for applications as well as reporting.
  • Participates in the translation of business requirements into specifications that will be used to guide development of bots and supplemental tools including required databases, user interfaces, reports, and dashboards.
  • Gathers and tracks data on businesses processed before and after automation, measuring the effectiveness of new bots and gathering business data for further analysis.
  • Improves the data flow and data quality to increase accuracy, viability, and value.
  • Creates and maintains training material and trains business functional, power, and end-users as necessary.
  • Unit test code for usability, reliability, and overall performance
  • Assists in quality control, validation processes and testing efforts, providing guidance and supervision to end users to ensure adequate and thorough testing.
  • Provides day to day support to the division as required to ensure the availability and performance of systems, users interface, automations, and dashboards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
