About the Role We are seeking a Junior Safety (SHEQ) Advisor to be based on site in Co Kildare; the main job objectives are: • To promote and facilitate the Ardmac Safety First Guiding Principals through the implementation of the Ardmac management systems while ensuring compliance to statutory obligations and ISO standards What You’ll Be Doing (non exhaustive) - Checking to ensure that Subcontractors are Prequalified prior to works commencing - Checking to ensure detailed methodologies are in place for all works under Ardmac control to include Risk Assessments and Method Statements. - Checking Induction training is completed for all on site under Ardmac control - Checking to ensure Task Specific Training is completed for all in the content of Risk Assessments and Method Statements - Check and collate all necessary statutory plant and training records - Check to ensure Tool Box Talks are completed at least weekly by the site management team - Coach and guide persons working on the project through the task specific Safe Plan of Action (SPA’s) required for all tasks What We’re Looking For Qualifications: • Diploma in Health and Safety or similar level qualification Ability and knowledge of: • 1-2 years' Construction site experience • Experience of highly regulated industry sites preferred • Excellent attention to detail • Strong communication skills • Automatic right to work in Ireland without work permit application Why Join Us • Work at the forefront of high-specification construction and technical environments • Contribute to projects that support critical industries such as pharmaceutical manufacturing and global data infrastructure • Be part of a collaborative, delivery-focused organisation with a strong reputation for quality • Competitive salary and benefits package • Training and Development Opportunities Join the team at Ardmac to gain experience in an environment of respect, professionalism and high collaboration teams.
