Responsibilities

THE ROLE: JUNIOR SALES ASSISTANT

Location: Pro-Tect GRP Offices Llansamlet, Swansea, SA6 8QZ
Hours: Full time position, Monday-Friday, 09:00–17:00 (40 hours per week)
Salary: £26,000-£27,000 per year +further progression opportunities.
We’re looking for a Junior Sales Assistant to support our Sales Manager and help further strengthen our sales department. This is a hands-on, varied role covering sales administration, customer support, and lead generation.
You’ll be directly assisting with day-to-day sales activity, from drafting quotes and processing orders to liaising with customers and production about lead times. You’ll also take responsibility for keeping stock logs of our roadside units and ensuring accurate, up-to-date information is available at all times.
This is a great opportunity for someone organised, proactive, and confident who wants to learn the ropes of technical sales in a supportive team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Sales Manager with daily sales administration.
  • Actively engage in lead generation and customer follow-ups.
  • Draft and issue quotes, process orders, and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Liaise with production and scheduling teams regarding lead times.
  • Provide timely updates to customers on order progress.
  • Respond to customer calls and emails promptly and professionally.
  • Keep stock logs of roadside units updated and accurate.
  • Maintain CRM logs and produce basic sales reports.
