THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, grow, and make an impact in the healthcare technology space.
As an SDR at Techio, you’ll be the first point of contact for many of our future clients. Your primary goal will be generating interest and setting qualified appointments with healthcare leaders and decision-makers. You don’t need years of sales experience — just strong communication skills, curiosity, resilience, and the drive to succeed. We’ll provide training, coaching, and mentorship to help you build a strong foundation for a career in sales.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; recent graduates or career starters welcome.
  • Strong interest in sales and customer-facing work.
  • Excellent communication skills (phone, email, and written).
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and scheduling appointments.
  • Resilient and coachable — able to learn from feedback and keep improving.
  • Organized, with good time management skills to balance multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM, LinkedIn, or similar tools is a plus (but not required).
  • Prior experience in appointment setting, customer service, or sales support is a bonus, but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Appointment Setting: Proactively connect with potential customers to schedule qualified meetings for our sales team.
  • Prospecting & Outreach: Reach out to prospects through phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn to introduce Techio’s solutions.
  • Market Research: Research companies and decision-makers to personalize outreach and improve engagement.
  • Pipeline Development: Support the creation of a healthy pipeline by identifying and qualifying new opportunities.
  • CRM Updates: Accurately track all activities, notes, and progress in HubSpot CRM.
  • Collaboration: Partner with senior SDRs and Account Executives to refine outreach strategies and ensure smooth handoffs.
  • Continuous Learning: Grow your understanding of healthcare technology and how Techio’s solutions help organizations.
