DO YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Completed MBO education in technology and we will teach you the ropes.
  • Several years of experience in a technical work environment and a sales support role.

FURTHERMORE, YOU HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • Microsoft Office package, in particular Word, Excel and Teams.
  • 3D drawing package, Solid Works is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement for this position; a third language is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of machines, such as vibratory conveyor and belt conveyor systems and/or optical inspection equipment, is desirable.

  • A working week of 32 to 39 hours.
  • You will receive 25 days of holiday leave, and with full-time employment, you will also accrue 6.5 days of ADV (reduction in working hours) that you can arrange yourself (just like your holiday leave).
  • Travel allowance of £0.23 per kilometre.
  • 13.7% holiday pay instead of the usual 8%.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

In this position, you will have both technical and commercial responsibilities and will work closely with the Area Sales Managers. You will act as the linchpin between various internal departments. You understand the needs of the customer and answer their questions with tailored advice.
With your excellent communication skills and customer-focused, solution-oriented approach, you will work with the Area Sales Manager to manage all expectations, ensuring that the quotation is converted into an order to everyone’s satisfaction.

YOUR TASKS

  • Translating the needs of existing and potential customers into technical solutions.
  • Drawing up technical descriptions and, if necessary, drawings of machines and systems for the purpose of making calculations and quotations.
  • Ensuring optimal order processing.
