Road Haulage Services Ltd is a small and friendly freight forwarder and courier primarily serving UK and European road freight; now expanding into Sea and Air freight.
We seek a junior team member to train in logistics sales and operations. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and outgoing, organised and hardworking. Personality is very important to us as we take a ‘phone first’ approach to communications and believe that ‘people buy from people’. As such the ability to be confident, likeable and articulate on the phone is essential.
In house and 3rd party training will be provided.
Key Activities: Outbound calls to our database of warm leads. Identifying target customers and working with the internal team to win new business.
Working with suppliers and managing freight movement.

Preferred Experience:

• Sales or customer services
• Anything customer facing
• Telesales
• Acting / performing on stage
• Experience in the logistics sector is highly advantageous but not necessary

Required attributes:

• Must be outgoing and likeable
• Organised and professional
• Not afraid to speak on the phone
• Articulate and clear
