We are looking for a Junior Salesforce Administrator to provide day-to-day system operations support in maintaining our Salesforce platform. The Junior Salesforce Administrator performs User Management, Data Management, Data Analysis, Process Automation, Change Management, and Security Management. This position is based on-site in San Rafael, California.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related degree, preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Salesforce Administrator experience strongly preferred with Salesforce platform, with day-to-day Salesforce support, long-term projects, SFDC deployment process knowledge, and Org Maintenance.
  • Must have a broad knowledge of customizing Salesforce, configuring the platform, managing users, and the available features, functions, and capabilities.
  • Prior experience assisting with the implementation of at least one ERP system.
  • Salesforce certification (minimum Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA).
  • Experience with SOQL and/or SQL for querying data.
  • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving, listening, and time management skills.
  • Focus on great customer service, follow through, and relationship management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other business contacts courteously and professionally.
  • Excellent customer focus with a high sense of urgency. Ability to provide excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to function calmly in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously. To be able to positively manage situations of a dynamic nature; to be able to modify plans, actions, and decisions considering changing situations and circumstances while still meeting, or proposing modified, deadlines.
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days per week at our offices in San Rafael, California.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to and serve as a point of contact for internal customers who request routine information, data summaries, and/or reports. Share knowledge with internal customers about how to produce their own reports and use the system effectively.
  • Assist and collaborate with key members of Development, Transportation Operations, Programs, Marketing, Finance, and Technical Departments to achieve effective, accessible processes.
  • Assist with Salesforce documentation for flows, business processes, and workflows.
  • Handle essential administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks.
  • Complete regular internal system audits, prepare and assist with upgrades as applicable.
  • Triages, reviews, and resolves help desk ticket submissions and coordinates/evaluates the best solution, working with Salesforce.com, internal teams, and outside consultants.
  • Assist in training new users while strengthening the Salesforce.org skill set across the organization.
  • Act as a liaison between users, vendors, and the IT Department.
  • Assist with basic configuration tasks within Salesforce, such as creating fields, page layouts, and workflows.
  • Help maintain user profiles, permission sets, and security settings.
  • Support data integrity efforts by performing data entry, data cleansing, and data migration tasks as directed.
  • Assist in maintaining data quality standards and ensuring compliance with data governance policies.
  • Assist in technical support requests, including hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computers, printers, mobile devices, and other office technology.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across various systems and platforms.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including setup and configuration of devices and accounts.
  • Familiarity with common IT tools and systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, remote desktop tools).
