The challenges of this SAP job

• You are responsible for the administration and further development of SAP authorization management and ensure that users can access systems securely and in accordance with regulations, according to their tasks.
• You analyze and monitor authorization structures and security-relevant settings within the SAP landscape. In doing so, you support the early detection of security risks and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT security.
• You regularly review existing role and authorization concepts, optimize their structure, and clean up outdated or redundant authorizations to ensure a transparent and audit-proof system landscape.
• Managing privileged user accounts is also part of your responsibilities. You implement appropriate security measures, monitor their effectiveness, and continuously develop existing security concepts.
• As part of compliance requirements, you will conduct authorization analyses and segregation of duties controls, identify critical authorization combinations, and work together with specialist departments and IT on the implementation of modern identity and access management processes.

Your qualifications for this SAP job

• You have successfully completed training in the IT field, for example as an IT specialist or in a comparable field, and ideally you have already gained initial practical experience in IT.
• Knowledge of SAP applications is advantageous. Experience in authorization management or user administration is welcome, but can also be acquired during the onboarding process.
• You have a basic understanding of information security, authorization concepts, and the responsible handling of access rights.
• A structured and conscientious work ethic, a strong sense of responsibility, and high reliability in everyday work are among your strengths.
• You enjoy working in a team, communicate confidently in German and English, and are interested in continuously expanding your knowledge in the areas of SAP and Identity & Access Management.
